The Cybex Sirona M2 i-Size allows you to transport your child in a rear-facing mode from birth up to a height of 105 cm. The seat can also be used in a forward-facing mode which is suitable for children who have reached 16 months of life and a height of 76 cm and taller. The Click-in systems makes it easy to change the car seat's driving direction.

The built-in linear side-impact protectors fold out on the door side of the car seat and increase the level of safety in the event of a side impact. In combination with the head and shoulder protectors, the L.S.P. system reduces the force of a side impact. The new, elaborate design provides even taller children with plenty of leg room to sit comfortably. 自願減碳見效工業局將開發新技術

【台灣醒報記者許嘉琪台北報導】「自願減碳」成果豐！經濟部工業局2005年推動「產業溫室氣體自願減量」，至今已累積減少了1,334萬公噸的碳排放，相當於台北市1.5年總用電的碳排放量。工業局副局長游振偉表示，目前低成本的減碳工程都已完成，剩下難度和成本高的，為此工業局將進行新材料和新技術研發，降低減碳成本，提高廠商配合意願。

工業局自2005年起推動「產業溫室氣體自願減量」，挹注資金和節能減碳技術，輔導廠商提升能源使用效率，根據統計，到今年為止總共累積減少了1,334萬公噸的碳排放，相當於台北市1.5年總用電的碳排放量。

不過這幾年來，自願減碳績效卻有下降的趨勢，工業局永續發展組科長潘建成表示，投入減碳對於廠商有利，能夠因此改善能源使用效率，降低燃料費。但是在這之前，必須先花一大筆錢，汰換舊設備和建置減碳工程。

依照過去的輔導經驗，兩年內可回收的減碳投資廠商都願意去做，但若是回收期超過兩年，廠商就會卻步。潘建成說，「自願減量」計劃已經實施了好幾年，成本低的工程幾乎都已完成，剩下的都是成本高的，也因此這幾年的自願減碳件數也所下降。

游振偉表示，會積極進行新材料與技術研發，降低減碳成本，也會投入4000萬的輔導經費，提高廠商減碳意願。為了因應氣候變遷和減碳趨勢，許多產品不斷進行技術改良，帶來了新商機。

工業局技師溫淑媛舉例，全球暖化的高溫環境下會加速水泥風乾，而新研發的「墁砌水泥」保水性優異，不易龜裂，在製作工法上也能減少16%排碳量，預計將能成為水泥用材的新趨勢。

校園測速攝像頭再擴大加倍增設加強開罰

為趕在9月5日(周三)公校開學前恢復校園周邊測速攝像頭的運作，保護學童安全，紐約市議會28日召開公聽會，討論相關單位如何針對超速駕駛開罰；根據提案內容，市交通局(DOT)可向超速者開出每次50元的罰單，並加倍增設攝像頭。

這項提案今(29)日投票，最快可在9月4日(周二)開學前一天由市長白思豪(Bill de Blasio)簽署通過。

紐約市學校周邊的測速攝像頭，在州參議會6月的會期結束前未安排相應提案表決，導致依賴紐約州撥款的120個紐約市學校周邊道路測速攝像頭於上月25日關閉；27日，州長葛謨(Andrew Cuomo)簽署時限為30天的行政命令，宣布進入緊急狀態(state of emergency)，在開學前重啟測速攝像頭的運作。

市議長張晟(Corey Johnson)與市議會交通委員會主席羅格貴茲(Ydanis Rodriguez)等人更提案，讓市府取回測速攝像頭的控制權，並可針對超速者開罰。

根據提案內容，允許紐約市在三種情況下控制學校附近的測速攝像頭，包括：上學日上學及放學的前後一個小時，學生活動期間的前後30分鐘，以及根據市交通局的調查資料，超速或車禍最嚴重的時段等。

提案也仿照日前由州眾議會通過的「延長和擴大紐約市學校區域測速攝像頭」項目提案，允許紐約市自行擴展測速攝像頭項目，將現有全市學校區域的140個測速攝像頭，再新增150個，擴大安裝範圍。

市交通局局長創騰伯格(Polly Trottenberg)到場作證，表示市交通局已準備好在開學之前重新啟動現有的測速攝像頭，而提案內容也允許交通局對那些在學校附近超速十哩的違規駕駛再度開罰。

創騰伯格說，自7月25日120個超速攝像頭關閉後，該局已發現超過33萬車輛行經學校附近時，時速超過限速11哩以上；若當局不採取任何措施，將置數萬名學童於危險之中。
